See own clients
You can set up a user who has restricted access so they can only see records you have assigned to them. This is especially useful for volunteers or caseworkers who only work on clients who are assigned via a specific referral process.
To see how this can be done, see the Security section of User access controls.
- User Can Access
This is where you choose if the user can access all records, or only their own records.
- Records count as own, where this user
This is where you define which setting counts records as 'own' for the user. This means, if you selected 'created their record', the user would only be able to see records where they created it.
- Apply restrictions when accessing
This allows you to define which records types you want to apply the 'see own orgs & people' rule to. For example, you may want to apply restrictions to accessing all record types, or just selected ones such as clients.
