The "Groups & Skills" link, found at the bottom of each Details screen, allows you to put organisations or people into groupings that you have created with the Membership/Skills Groups feature.

Adding an organisation/person to a grouping

Click on the "Groups & Skills" link for that organisation/person (from their Details screen).

You will now see any groupings that they are already in (if there are any). Click "New Group/Skill" to add one.

You can now enter:

  • Start date (defaults to today's date, if this is a new grouping for the org/person)
  • End date (not compulsory, but you can fill this in if needed - for someone who is going to volunteer for a set period of time, for example)
  • Name - the grouping in question, set up in Membership/Skills Groups
  • Notes

Click "Save Details" when done. You will be returned to the display of that org/person's groupings with the new one added.
