A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot cope without their support [1].
The system has the option to be configured in two ways when it comes to Carers and Dependents (The cared for person).
- Carer - The carer is the main service users who receives the services offered by your organisation. This system is preconfigured with Clients and Dependents.
- Standard - The carer relationship is not relevant or your organisation mainly supports the dependent. This system is preconfigured with Clients and Carers.
