Groups and skills are a generic way of categorising people or organisations on the system. They can be used for multiple types of categories like:
- Skills
- Interests
- Services volunteers work in
- Professional Memberships
- Committees and local groups
The categories are setup in Membership/Skills Groups.
You will now see any groupings that they are already in (if there are any). Click "New Group/Skill" to add one.
You can now enter:
- Start date (defaults to today's date, if this is a new grouping for the org/person)
- End date (not compulsory, but you can fill this in if needed - for someone who is going to volunteer for a set period of time, for example)
- Name - the grouping in question, set up in Membership/Skills Groups
- Notes
Click "Save Details" when done. You will be returned to the display of that org/person's groupings with the new one added.
