Location in standard build: Reports > Referral Reports > External Referrals
The External Referrals Report shows any external referrals or signposts recorded on your Charitylog system. These can be recorded in two ways;
- Using the "Signposting/External Referrals" feature on the Record a Contact screen
- Using Information Links (also from the Record a Contact screen)
Control of reporting output
Filters
You can filter the data by;
- Date Range
- Staff Member (the Staff entered in the "Done By" box on the Record a Contact screen)
- Referred To (which organisation)
- Project (the Project for the Action from which the signpost was created)
- Type of External Referral (if you are using Signpost and External Referral Types)
Additions
You can opt to display the full client address on the output of the report (if the full address is not displayed, the report will show the name and the postal district of the client at the time the signpost/external referral was made).
Output formats
The usual output formats are available: Display/Print (which will show the results of the report on screen) or Export (which produces an Excel spreadsheet to be downloaded to your computer).
