The first section of the screen allows you to terminate their involvement with Projects. If you reached this screen by clicking a "Continuing" link on the Projects tab, the Project in question will be highlighted. The project name, start date and most recent date of contact are shown. You can then pick a reason from the list (this list is set up from the Termination Reasons drop-down list), and write notes if required (this is optional).

The second section of the page allows you to terminate their involvement with other projects as well. This is to be used when something has happened that means that their involvement with all projects needs closing (for example, they move away or die). Use this section with caution unless you are absolutely sure that all project involvement should end. You can also remove their memberships of any linked Clubs/Clinics and end their membership of Groups/Skills (using the Termination Date you entered above as the end date for the Groups/Skills).

The final section of the page gives you the option to also mark the org/person as deceased, and/or inactive. As above, use the "Inactive" status with caution unless you are sure it is required.
