#REDIRECT [[Termination Screen]]

The Client Project Terminations page allows you to terminate a client's involvement with a Project. It is accessed by clicking a link in the "Date of Termination" column on the client's Projects tab (on the Client Details screen). While the client is involved with a Project, this link will display "Continuing".

The first section of the screen allows you to terminate the client's involvement with the nominated Project - i.e., the Project for which the "Continuing" link was clicked from the Projects tab. The project name, start date and most recent date of contact are shown. You can then pick a reason from the list (this list is set up from [[System_Setup_Guide#Termination_Reasons|the Termination Reasons drop-down list]]), and write notes if required (this is optional).

The second section of the page allows you to terminate the client's involvement with other projects at the same time. This is to be used when something has happened that means that the client's involvement with all projects needs closing (for example, the client moves away or dies). Use this section with caution unless you are absolutely sure that all project involvement should end. You can also remove them memberships of any linked Clubs/Clinics and end their membership of Groups/Skills (using the Termination Date you entered above as the end date for the Groups/Skills).

The final section of the page gives you the option to also mark the client as formally deceased (i.e. the "Is Client Deceased?" field on their Personal Details tab will be set to "Yes"), and to mark the client as inactive. As above, use the "Inactive" status with caution unless you are sure it is required.
