Record a Contact (Anonymous) is a tool to record contacts taking only a minimum data set.  It can be used to quickly enter contacts for anonymous people onto the system.  It can also be used for looking up existing service users on the system.  Before Record a Contact (Anonymous) is used it need to be configured to say which fields are to be displayed at the top of the recording screen.  To configure the required fields please see [[Customise_Orgs_%26_People#Minimum_Data_Sets| Minimum Data Sets]].

Clicking on the menu item will take you directly to the [[Project Selection Page]]. Once you've selected the Project and clicked "Create New Referrals", you will be taken to the [[Record a Contact Screen]], but with an extra section at the top where you can enter information about the person that the contact is with.

Record a Contact (Anonymous) is a tool to record contacts taking only a minimum data set. It can be used to quickly enter contacts for anonymous people onto the system. It can also be used for looking up existing service users on the system. Before Record a Contact (Anonymous) is used it need to be configured to say which fields are to be displayed at the top of the recording screen. To configure the required fields please see Minimum Data Sets.

When selected from the menu you will be taken to the project selection page to specify which service this information is to be recorded against.

In the top section labelled 'Enter Details' you will find the configured fields. The name field will be auto populated with Anonymous Client, which will created a record marked as anonymous. If you wish to change this to a named person simply replace 'Anonymous Client' with the persons surname, this will not be marked as anonymous.

  • Compulsory, must be filled in - Pale red colour.
  • Prompted if not filled in - Pale yellow colour.
  • Optional - No colour (white).
