The document type can change without any indication as to what makes the template a standard or info links type. Very few people use information links, so when this switches to another type it is almost always unintended and causes confusion when they can't use their new template, and then they (and we, most of the time) don't know how to change it to a standard template, and don't know how to avoid remaking the same mistake.
