The Equipment Descriptions page allows you to enter details of pieces of equipment. You can then assign these pieces of equipment to people/organisations on your Charitylog system.

Equipment is allocated to people/organisations via a blue link at the bottom of a record. Allocated equipment can be reported on via the Equipment Allocations report.

To edit an existing item simply click on it's name or click the 'Create New Item' button.

You can now enter the following details:

  • Name - Enter the name of the item (you may wish to add an item number if you have multiple).
  • Description of the piece of equipment
  • Serial number

Once you have filled in the details and clicked "Save Details", you will be returned to the list of equipment with the new addition. If you need to edit details, you can do this by clicking on the name of the piece of equipment.
