The Referral Closure and Outcome details screen has two purposes:

  • to allow the user to enter details of when a Referral is Closed, if the project uses manual referral closure (reports can then be produced based on these closure dates)
  • to allow the user to enter an Outcome for the relevant Referral, using the list of Simple Diary Outcomes

Information about the Referral

Above the Closure/Outcome section, the history of the Referral so far is displayed. There is basic information about the related org/person, as well as a condensed history of the Contacts that have been recorded.

You can now fill in the following:

  • Referral Closure Date - the date that the Referral closed. This is the only field that needs to be filled in, if you want to manually close a Referral.
  • Outcome Notes - free text; information about the closure and the outcome of the Referral.
  • Outcome - uses the list of Simple Diary Outcomes
  • Project Subcategory
  • Date awarded - relates to the two fields below
  • Monetary Outcome - if this referral resulted in financial gain of some sort, enter it here
  • Arrears Obtained - as above
