Location in standard build: Bottom of organisation/person Details screen

The Equipment feature lets you set up a list of equipment and then use Charitylog to track who currently has which piece of equipment.


Clicking on the link at the bottom of an organisation/person's Details screen will take you to a display of any equipment already assigned, if there is any. You can use the "Enter New Item" link to assign an item of equipment to this person.

From the next screen, you can select the piece of equipment to be assigned (this list is set up in the Equipment Descriptions page).

Click on the "yellow people" button to access the equipment lookup list.

From the lookup list, tick the box of the piece of equipment you want to assign.

The lookup list will close automatically and the "Equipment Item" box will be filled out. You can now add any other information you need to. Click "Save Details" once complete.

Once the item is assigned, together with the relevant dates, it will be displayed on the Equipment History page. When the equipment is returned, you can update the assignment by clicking on the name of the piece of equipment, then adding the return date and any notes if needed.

Reporting outputs

Information entered here feeds into the Equipment Report.
